Actually, I should just say see my review on cartoon. Same owner now. Identical overloaded card. The staff are also identical. Hard-working and friendly. One star more due to the excellent location. But only because of that.

The coffee was okay, unfortunately, despite the quiet operation, the condition did not manage to bring the bill despite repeated requests.

The Pendel is a very nice location with fair prices, very tasty breakfast (until 12 noon) and good hearty dishes, the salads are also recommended. The staff is very friendly and you can dine very well both outside and inside. I am happy to recommend the pendulum to everyone and will be stopping by frequently.

Sharply decreased in quality. I've been on the pendulum for 10 years. Until 2 years ago I could only recommend it. Price performance ratio, what concerns the food was great. Unfortunately that has decreased a lot. Ate a hunter schnitzel today. Unfortunately it wasn't schnitzel but pressed meat. Far too little flavor-free sauce and that for 12.90 euros. You can look for the meat in the salad with fillet strips. However, the service is super nice and the location is very good. Therefore also 2 stars.

Very friendly service and the food was really tasty. I had a fall bowl that was really delicious. My companion also had a very tasty tarte flambée.

Variations of salad, pasta, burger and more to choose from. Interior was nicely decorated with a cozy vibe, would be great for a place to chill with friends in the evening with some cocktails too!

I had an Alsatian tarte flambée and my girlfriend had an apple strudel. Both really delicious, we'd love to come back.

The food was good, the waitresses were completely overwhelmed and didn't understand us. Table was not cleared, starter came together with main course. Constantly wrong drinks .. sat upstairs to 6. In the end we paid almost € 20 more, which luckily we noticed. But then the service at the counter downstairs helped us.

Staff very friendly, ordered a schnitzel with champion cream sauce, schnitzel very thin and dry breaded, sauce too little and like water fries a lot but too long in the deep fryer.

Yesterday evening after a long time we visited the “Pendel” in Bonn, an old-established restaurant in a new location, to indulge in memories. You can find beautiful old hers everywhere, the interior is very successful, you feel right at home. The Corona regulations were implemented very well by the owner, although not every visitor adhered to them 100%, unfortunately. Our waitress was very friendly and we were soon able to enjoy our meal, but unfortunately the cook seemed to be in love because my two schnitzel were too salty for me. Some leaves of the rocket salad could have been sorted out beforehand (black slimy). The mushroom cream sauce with the fresh mushrooms and the slim fries (a huge portion, by the way), on the other hand, were very tasty. The waitress reacted directly to the shortcomings, apologized and brought a small espresso to the house, a nice touch. Unfortunately, it was almost impossible for us to have a conversation later after dinner, as the music was turned up too loud for us. Thanks to the nice service! there are three stars, but I won't be back here anytime soon, too bad.

Service partially overwhelmed. Food is very good and also suitable for people who are really hungry. Drinks seem to be diluted (even without ice cubes).

Good food, varied menu, price-quality ratio was good, portions were quite large. Service took some time for the second round of drinks but they seemed a bit understaffed, so they are forgiven :)

Then as now, I always like to pendulum here. Super great for sitting outside (at Friedensplatz) in the sun when the weather is nice, drinking a cold beer and having a delicious meal. The staff here are super friendly. great concept, the service and the prices are right - so we'd like to give you all the thumbs up

Lovely bar + restaurant. We walked by a few times and finally went in and was not disappointed. We sat at the bar and the bartender Matthias was fantastic! I asked for a vodka martini and he researched it, made it, and was spot on!

It was delicious and cozy. The rolls were not that great.

A nice little bar/restaurant. The staff is very nice and polite. The food is tasty and so are the drinks. In addition, the bar is quite comfortable and and well furnished.

Burger paradise... I don't know what they were making before, but this is one of rare places in Bonn where you can now have best burgers for reasonable price. Very nice atmosphere and ambience. Sit at the evening hours at the bar and order beer or vine. 2 - 3 parking garages in area..

Expensive and not really good food. I had a bottle of water with me and the waiter demanded I put it away. Also didn't like it that the waiter addressed me as junger Mann.

Tasty pasta, quick service and fair prices

Food tastes great and the waiters are absolutely friendly. From six times dinner in Bonn I landed here 5 times.

Had the Steak with fries, side salad and mushroom cream sauce and it was delicious. They didn’t ask how I wanted the steak cooked (I.e. well done, medium, or rare) so I’m guessing they cook it all the same. It came out medium-well. Brown with a little bit of red inside. Overall the steak was just okay, but the fries were SO good. My fries stayed crispy throughout my whole meal (~ 40 mins; I eat slow) just added some salt to my fries and it was perfect. They have salt and pepper grinders but you have to ask for them, and it’s a nice touch as some places only have table salt, this place has course sea salt and whole black pepper. The salad was okay nothing special. Overall it was a good meal. Atmosphere is hip and chill but a little loud with the music so you have to struggle a bit to speak with your friends there. It’s a bar/restaurant. Service was good! We had several different waiters/waitresses help us and all of them were friendly. Prices weren’t cheap but weren’t too expensive either; I mean it’s subjective but it’s about right for dinner and worth this meal. My meal, altogether with a soda + tip was €21. It was roughly the same give or take a couple euros for my friends as well who had completely different dishes. I recommend the fries and would come here again to try their pasta/rice dishes.??

It's a chilled place. And clearly people must like it because it is full most times. Service is good and food is fairly priced.

We ordered few drinks at this place. The cocktails were not up to the mark. The water/ ice was more in it and not concentrated. However this place is cool to hang out with friends, music is also good. Hence 4 from me.
